The 2nd Annual hot dog cook-out hosted by Buzzys Grooming
on Sat. Mar. 19th was a huge success. The day was sunny with a chill in the air. The Buckaroos of 302 surprised
Betty with a big beautiful birthday cake and cards. Thank you very much. We estimate 150 to 175 Sledders
came and went all afternoon. There were the Volunteer trail workers, Young Kids, our future trail workers,
VAST County Directors, many area Club officers, Groomer Operators and the "Out of Staters" all came to support
the day. We need each and everyone to make the trail system as great as it is. We thank everyone for taken
the time out of their ride to stop and visit. The season is winding down. Soon we will be putting the Sur Trac
away and the Drivers will get a much needed rest. Keep checking the web site through the summer for news. Thank for your support. See you next Dec. Buzzy &
Betty

Sur Trac and drag with the new 9 ft. tall brush bar all mounted on the side
of the drag. AWESOME !! Every limb this bar cuts off means a Volunteer does not have
to do it!! The Sur Trac with drag measures 42 ft. 6 inches long and
10 ft. wide. We remind everyone to always be alert for the equipment on the trails. We are out there to
lay down a good trail for you to ride on. We can not pull out of the trail so we rely on the snowmobiler to stop out
of the trail for us to pass by. The Buckaroos of 302 Club generously purchased the brush bar, Hydraulic cylinder and
hoses. Bill Cassidy and Mike Davidson installed the brush bar on the drag. ROBCO transported the groom
back and forth from Buzzy's to Bill's garage. Thursday a Mechanic from Champlain Valley Equip. will come and do warranty
work on the Sur Trac. Than Buzzys Grooming will be ready to go. This year we are adding another driver to the
Sur Trac crew, Shaun Corbett. Shaun lives in Williamstown.

On the left, Buzzy takes a picture of Gary digging a ditch to drain water off
of the 2004 trail. Peter Uttero used his excavator to dig a ditch for a culvert so that
the water drains off trail rt. 2004. Gary and Buzzy went out on Nov. 10th to buried the culvert. Hopefully
this will take care of that water hole. Pictured center and right. Kitty
Diggins and her son Karl Hollistein rescued the Buckaroos of 302 rescue sled from storage. The rescue sled with accessories
will be stored at Kitty's barn in West Groton. Kitty graciously offered her Polaris snowmobile for the power unit.
We hope that this rescue sled will only collect dust. But if there is a need please call Buzzy & Betty at 802-584-3630
or Kitty at 802-584-3589.

We are very thankful.
